First of all, COVID-19 has everyone stuck inside right now, and that sucks. It sucks for everyone. It sucks for you, and it also sucks for me, because it means I have to cancel April’s Acoustic Matinee. (I wasn’t gonna because my house isn’t all that big, but my featured guest was a literal doctor, so, you know, doctor’s orders.)
But! It got me thinking about livestreaming.
The last time I did this series in NYC, I livestreamed every event using Concert Window, which is a service that no longer exists. I didn’t include that in the plan this time around, because having an intermission makes livestreaming complicated. But since Ross isn’t coming this month and neither is anybody else, there’s no need for an intermission.
All this adds up to:
Acoustic Matinee will be a livestream in April for the benefit of my wine patrons
This is obviously an extenuating circumstance. I’ll have to put some thought into whether I’m going to continue in subsequent months. Feel free to leave your input in the comments.

News: patreon special offer cont.
At the beginning of this month I ran a month-long patreon special offer in which I gave away free custom stickers to my patrons. It’s coming to the end of the month now and I still have stickers left, so I’m extending it another month. This means if you haven’t yet pledged you still have a chance, and I think you should take it.
News: Farewell to One More Cup of Coffee
I sold my last physical copy of One More Cup of Coffee at an Acoustic Matinee about two months ago.
I’ve been debating whether to order more and have concluded that I will not. So there are no more physical copies of that album, though I think a couple still exist on CD Baby and maybe one left on Amazon. When those sell they won’t be replaced. One More Cup of Coffee is now officially digital only.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should. It’s my first little baby work and was done on a just slightly less than shoestring budget, but it has all the charm of beginnings, not to mention some incredible guitar work by Aron Marchak.
News: patreon special offer
For the entire month of February I’m offering a new benefit to all my patrons: pledge a dollar or more before March 1 and I’ll send you one (or eight) of my lovely custom stickers:
That’s of course, in addition to granting access to my exclusive house concert videos.
If you’re still thinking about it, I think you should go ahead and be a patron.
News: website update
That’s right, ladies, gentlemen, and humans of every persuasion. I have completely redone my website. That’s the big news story for the day.
I think you’ll like it. Go on and take a look around. I’ll wait here.
